Last evening, I decided I’d do a 30-mile round trip bike ride to get cat food. It was wet, raining, cool, and getting dark as I set off around 6:30PM.
It was my most difficult ride to date. Unseen debris in the road wrecked my chain and required some side of the road maintenance.
My navigation app sent me on a path that was being treacherous at dark (I could’ve taken the route I knew but thought I’d give the suggestion a whirl).
I got home just shy of 10PM, exhausted. But honestly, it was also fun. I will have to give the bike a once (or twice) over today. If nothing else, it definitely needs to be washed.
