My new biking bibs from Primal arrived yesterday and, after a wash, I got to wear them on a ride tonight. Far more comfortable than the padded liners I was wearing. Quite tight all around but we, as bikers, know what we’ve signed up for.

My only hang up with moving my site is getting all of the past posts onto Pika (to be fair: I have not researched this at all yet to see if there’s an easy way).

I’ve been building my site with eleventy/build awesome and while I love it, I’m thinking of switching to Bear or Pika.
Went on a ride today and it was the first time I knew my legs were done just shy of the halfway point. Still finished the ride, but it was a rough one.
Any hairdressers or barbers out there need a business name: “Music to my Shears.” Yours for the taking. All I ask is free haircuts and beard trims for life.

The stance that people experiencing poverty shouldn’t have access to snacks or soda or cell phones or internet is wild. As a society we approach it as, “No, you must be entirely without any enjoyment of any kind first before we will consider helping you.”
I can tell you, in my day job, I get “fraud” calls from people who say their neighbor receiving assistance just got a TV. I listen and thank them for the call and then chuck that complaint into the void.
