I don’t think I can verbalize how much I love the song, “Silver Springs,” by Fleetwood Mac and all of the stories and history behind it.

The Beaches cover of it is such a beautiful tribute to it.

Express Scripts: Oh, yeah, I see what’s going on here. Let me connect you to your insurance company so they can explain it.

Insurance: Yes, you requested brand and there’s an upcharge for that.

Me: Ok, well, neither insurance nor Express Scripts said that when both told me it’d be $38 before I ok’d the order.

Ins: Well, your doctor would have to check brand required.

Me: Ok, but still doesn’t change no one mentioned this fee and it’s insurance making me switch from 30 to 90 days.

Ins: Your plan says you get two thirty day fills and then have to go to 90 day mail order.

Me: I’ve been getting thirty day refills for almost two years.

I’ve been putting off calling my insurance company. I was getting a maintenance drug at $15 for 30 day supply. I received a letter that said I had to switch to a 90 day supply and steered me towards Express Scripts (and whatever their new name is). That 90 day supply costs me $66.67, $20 more than just getting 30 day supplies.

Still considering an Oura ring, but on of the reasons I stopped wearing metal rings was because of my fear of ring avulsion. I’m just looking for a health track I don’t need to wear on my wrist.
