I was having issues logging into my Win11 computer at work. It kept saying password was wrong but I knew it was correct. So I thought, “Maybe the batteries in my wireless keyboard are going.”

I went to IT for batteries. During the search, we were chatting and I explained why I needed batteries.

From IT: “Oh, we’ve found some people reporting that issue. If you restart it, it should work.”

Now, I know the old, “Did you try turning it off and on again?” But never in my life for an operating system did I think that would apply to logging into the machine with the correct credentials. Big tech’s a joke.

Had an emergency vet appt today to discover that our 13 yo baby cat has arthritis in her back left leg.

My only complaint about Qobuz is the no Siri integration of asking, “play xyz in Qobuz”

Off to my first practice with a band that recruited me to join 😬

My favorite part of Microsoft’s SSO is the number of different apps I have to “single sign-on” after updating my password.

I used the Thanksgiving holiday to update my in-laws’ computers to Windows 11 (blech) but as a tradeoff for touching that, also got them and the rest of our family plan members moved from Spotify to Qobuz and cancelled Spotify.

If anyone wants a Digg invite, send me a DM. I have two (new) codes left.

My issue the past few days: HBO Max password reset emails were not being delivered to one of my StartMail domain aliases. I was receiving other emails, including those from Support to the email address. StartMail support was very helpful in confirming everything seemed to be set up correctly. HBO Max support was also helpful. Ultimately had to change the email on the account but still have no idea why they weren’t coming through - especially since the new email address is on the same domain.
