Giving this @FediTree another go (must’ve been at its limit earlier)

Amidst everything this weekend, I had an appointment today to have the lenses recut and replaced in my glasses under their warranty because they had a chip. It was to take an hour. And it did!

But while cutting the lenses to fit my glasses for the warranty replace, the lab chipped the replacement lenses in almost the exact spot my original lens was chipped in.

They ordered me a new pair of glasses and lenses.

I’m happy with the fix but annoyed I had to leave the house for it today because I wasn’t terribly ready to people today.

As distractions go, I’m considering buying a new domain and spinning up my own mastodon instance with fedihost. I don’t need to do this but, again, distraction.
